I'm pretty sure that nothing counts if Chuck Norris isn't there.
Of course it would make a sound. Sound is simply vibrations interpreted by an ear, and I can assure you that Chuck Norris' presence is quite irrelevant to the ability of an ear to interpret vibrations.
