the interweb machine

does anyone know how to make the internet do what you want it to do?
failing that, does anyone know much about shakespeare's two gentlemen of verona?

this week so far i have had two lectures with me the only student and two lecturers. it is certainly value for my student loan money, but i do not recommend it -- quite possibly the most intimidating thing i have done all year...

would anyone like to do my essay for me? it will be really fun - 5500 words on britten's 1942 hymn to st cecilia and purcell's 1692 hail, bright cecilia, and how they reflect english society's changing attitude to music.
such a fun essay that i will not give it up lightly...in fact, if i let you do it for me you will totally owe me one... but i will let you do it for free because that's just the kind of person i am :)

i'll write your essay for you. it wouldn't be very good though. it would have nothing to do with anything you mentioned. in fact, i don't think i'd mention cecilia anywhere...and it might be written in crayon. there'd definintely be a lot of doodles around the edge and probably throughout the main body of the essay. it would have a solid conclusion that recapped absolutely nothing i'd previously talked about, and the title would be "This Is The Reason Why Adam Didn't Do A Bachelor Of Arts"

it would get 10/10 for complete irrelevance, so if that's what you're going for, then i'm your guy :oD

i think i should have done a maths degree, everything would have been so much simpler. i wouldn't even be expected to be able to speak in coherant sentences.

Ah...I remember those days. Staying up half the night writing (I'll be honest) complete and utter crap in order to make the 8am deadline.

Is there anyone out there who stays up half the night writing essays, but who doesn't write complete and utter crap?

oh, i yearn for the days of half-all nighters...they were comforting...they were solid. days on end of "critically analyse the following topic..." does nothing for one's sanity...

thoughts patterns like this occur:

does that sentence make sense? does anything make sense? on end? on the end of each other? do days even end? or do they morph into each other? shall i even begin such an existentialist debate, or shall i just try and encoporate fanciful images of spongebob into my essay...where i refer to the absorbant sponge of society...

ahh, anonymous i know who you are now, thank you for your sponge bob reference. though i was pretty sure it was you anyway, either you or the moist one...
come on don't be shy, tell us your name!

do you think they had absorbent sponges in late 17th century society?
